The Hazards of Affiliate Marketing
About two years ago I ventured into affiliate marketing. I started with a site that had a significant presence on the internet, and thought within the next few months I would be making an income from this site. Boy was I in for a rude awakening. I followed all the rules and information that was laid out for me, and still no significant income. I started to use the traffic exchanges, as was recommended, and safelists.
This gave me a prescence on the traffic exchanges, but no real income. In researching and talking to other people, I learned about Search Engine Optimazation. I found out that without it, you really had no internet prescence, and the only peoploe that were seeing my sites through the traffic exchanges were people like me. With SEO, my ads started to get more notice.
The next thing I learned was that blogs did more for me than SEO, or traffic exchanges. If you really want a great Google ranking, start blogging.
The newest, and one of the best things to happen on the internet in a long time is the introduction of Twitter. I have tripledn my Google ranking, and get a lot more people following, at lat count 2500.
As I get more information on network, and affiliate marketing, I will be blogging about it on the different blog posts.
